What the review covers

Implementation progress

What you have done since you got your AEO strategy map or growth system: what is finished, what is partly done and what hasn’t started.

Unfinished work is part of the review. It shows where you are stuck and what is holding the rest back.

Results and data

What has changed for your company since you started: leads, sign-ups, sales conversations and revenue, and what new customers say when you ask how they found you.

AI search is hard to track in analytics, so the review uses every source that shows what is working, not analytics alone.

Google and AI search visibility

Whether your company shows up in Google, AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity for the questions your buyers ask, and how it is described when it does.

Search Console shows which searches you appear for and how that is changing, including searches for your company’s name.

Competitors and market changes

What has changed around your company since your plan was made: competitors, Google and AI search updates, and your own company, such as a new product or a new direction.

What’s working and what isn’t

Which pieces are moving your company forward, which ones aren’t, and why.

Next priorities

Your next priorities, in order: what to do next, what to stop and where to put more effort.

With a review every quarter, your priorities keep up with your company as it grows.

Frequently asked questions

What is a founder progress review?

It is a review of your progress after you put your AEO strategy map or growth system to work. It shows what you have done, what is working and what isn’t, and what you need to do next.

When should I get a progress review?

About three months after you start implementing. That gives your work time to show up in Google and AI search. Some work moves slower, and then your first review comes at six months.

Is it one review or ongoing?

Either. Get one review when you need direction, or a review every quarter to keep adjusting as your company grows.

Do I need to have implemented everything?

No. The review covers what is done, what is partly done and what hasn’t started, and why.

Can I get a progress review if my plan didn’t come from you?

The progress review is built on your AEO strategy map or growth system. If you don’t have one yet, start with Founder AEO strategy mapping or the Founder growth system. Both start from what your company already has.

What do you need from me?

Access to your Search Console and analytics, and what you have seen since you started: leads, sign-ups, sales conversations and what new customers tell you.

How long does a progress review take?

Your review takes 7 to 10 days. Where it falls in that range depends on how much your plan covers.

How is it priced?

It is quoted on scope. A review of a growth system covers more pieces than a review of an AEO strategy map, so the price follows what your plan includes.
